Rep Power: 2 ![]() | You knew you were trusting the post office with the headlight for over 2 weeks and didn't think about insuring it? |

As stated earlier, maybe I should've asked for insurance, maybe the seller should've offered to insure the package. The amount would've been nominal. Again, blame is being shifted to the post office, and the seller has not made an effort to make things right. __________________

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | It was shipped intact. I know this because I witnessed it. If the post office broke it, of course it's their fault. She doesn't work for the post office, nor does she do their package handling. |

The fact remains that I sent some hard earned money (which she has already spent), and I have a broken headlight to show for it. She has made no attempt to remedy the situation. Why are you even posting in this thread? Is that the reason you signed up, to defend your girl's "honor"? I guess you are the guy who was banned from 3Si for bad transactions...as she mentioned earlier on this thread. What a pair! Last edited by tazman; 12-11-2009 at 01:55 AM..

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | No, I came on here to hang out with fellow 3/S members and help them with their problems. You are laying blame on her for the headlight being broken. It's unfortunate that it broke in transit to you. She has no obligation to help you. It was up to you to request insurance on the package, which you did not. The other headlight (which was packaged seperately from this headlight) arrived in fine condition. So her packaging must not have been bad, but the handling was the issue. Go bother the post office. |

I shipped you two boxes, both with headlights in identical condition, packaged nearly the same, with the same amount of padding inside. If one box was demolished, you needed to take that up with the post office, because obviously they were adequately enough packaged the the un-smashed box arrived safely, and the post office damaged the box along the way.
