Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | With all the major manufacturers in trouble, Is Mitsubishi?????? I ask this cause I think we as Owners need to speak up. I think being that Ford is making the Mustangs and Chevy has come back out with the Camaro and Dodge has the Charger and the Challenger..... I think Mitsubishi needs to come out with the 3000gt again............... |

They should come out with the GTO again but mitsu is really focusing on the rally series like the EVO's the eclipse is like the GTO. the new GTO. http://www.caradvice.com.au/9338/mitsubishi-concept-ra/ __________________ Dont let people steer you wrong.... just steer right pass them ![]() Last edited by GRN3500GT; 06-08-2009 at 11:32 AM.. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | Yeah but I'm 6'2" and weigh 225 pounds and that cars is just to small. I have a 93 3k and I have plenty of room. I think alot of Adults along with younger people would buy the mid sized 3k if they would come back out with it. The Vette and the Ford Mustangs and the Challengers are getting alot of Adult Attention. You know, Mid Life Wants....lol |

Rep Power: 27 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | yea I agree with a nice spacious sports car. with lots of power to move all that space. I have seen pics of GTO concepts made by people and shops that would definately kick some serious ass!!!! |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | If they would bring it back in the Mid 30$$$'s I would buy one. I think they could do that pretty easy. I might be wrong, but I don't think so. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | There's been a 3000GT concept floating around. Russian made though. There are A LOT of lines on it where you can see the 3000GT. But I don't know if I'd want Mistu to design it with it's current design flow. They're basing all of their new designs around the Evo and i don't think the 3000 would look good with evo lines. __________________ - Marcus ![]() Quote:

Rep Power: 75 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | it would be nice, but I don't think it will happen. At least not for a long time. All they honestly need to do is make the current eclipse an AWD turbo car and we would all be happy. If you think about it, the current eclipse in the v6 flavor comes in between 26K and 30K in the non convertable variant. Would a turbo variant cost more than 10K more to build and sell? Doubtful. So at say 35-40K, they could easily make the eclipse an AWD turbo car that puts out 400 HP or more. I am sure it would sell well once the economy picks up some. Name another car on the market for 40K that has 400 HP? Its one hell of a deal. Best of all, no more TD04. That sucker would have to have TD05 turbos at minimum. In all likelyhood they would use 16G turbos and they would likely spool like a set of 9b turbos spool on our car. Nuckin' Futs. __________________ Only member of the 10,000 post club. Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | Eclipse is to small. Again, I'm 6'2" and 235. I'm to big for one. I tried to get in my bosses Saturn Red Line "sky". I'm to big. My friend has the Nissan GTR again, I'm to big. The two seaters are just to small for anyone over 6'...... I guess I will bUy my Vette If I want something new. But I'm steel looking for that perfect VR4 PS: What is a Evo???? |
