we are doing a turbo swap from NA 95 car. When doing a turbo swap, i was told you have to get the injector resister pack and the fuel pump transistor. NA's don't have these. I know the fuel injector resister pack plugs into the turbo engine harness, but i was told that the fuel pump resister plugs into the body harness. Anyone who has done a turbo swap if you can tell me what you did to hook that up, i would gracefully appreciate it. Thanks

so my cousin VR4 lost compression on the front of the motor, the timming is fine but it looks like were in the game to build a motor.

im not a vr4 expert as you can tell by my screenname , im a nissan guy.

So i need some options , we looked at 3sx shortblocks and I have access to machine shop and all,

But i dont know the difference on this whole galant motor ? 3.5 L ?

what is the pros and cons of using that motor or crank ?

or should I just stick with 3sx or weisco 8:5:1 pistons .20 over ?

3sx rods and clevite77 bearings and arp studs ?

the car made 550whp on stock block and I heard thats pretty much pushing it.

we would like to make it 500 reliable and to be able to turn up the boost to make 600ish-700

my question is I keep hearing about the 3.5L vs 3.0 ?

im still new at this and im still trying to understand this motor, thanks in advance

my Original Car was All Black AWD.TT the engine Blew... I bought a NA and here is where it is Now The Interior has been redone The car Lowered, TT exhaust Installed Solid Engine Mounts I designed, the Suspension with the TT BIG Brakes front and rear. 99 Mitzu Front end with Fog lights But Keeping the Popups :) soon the the front will be complete where the snake eyes reside..

I have sinced to Moved to Miam (The car now Here)i But I thought I would share My ideas for MY Car as of Now, Hope you guys Like I am sure There will be Some that dont like this aswell I am Sure( just keep in Mind I do Love Ferrari's especially the
F430 Scuderia. I will keep you posted on the Progress.... this should be Unique and I hope quite an Eye catcher down here in Miami:emot-rice

Here is what I have done with Photoshop LOL my first time... RED car in Photo NOT mine Just my visualization of my idea

The Car will be Painted Rosso Scuderia Red 2002-2009 Ferrari F430,458 as of note.
Just a Quick Note the Single wheel YOu see is the Wheel of choice with the mod on center cap Rim size 18" tire size 245.
The Dash cluster you see you can find in images on google however I have contacted the company and I will be using this design almost identicaly exact with a little Ferrari influence so I wanted to debute it to all of you along with matching center cluster for the TT...The wheel of choice is on here as well
one final Note on the Crecent Badges they will be recesed into the fenders like the real thing...
Phil

SO welcome any feed back or any ideas.. I can take critizism too...

Gauge Wiring Help

I am the world worst person when it comes to tring to wire stuff up and probably should be allowed...

I am the world worst person when it comes to tring to wire stuff up and probably should be allowed to touch wires, but i need to get my gauges installed so i can drive my car.

Heres my issue. Look at the below list and these are the 5 wires i have coming out of the back of the gauges:

Black –Ground
Red - 12v ign. power-meaning power when the ignition is on.
White- 12v ign. power
Orange-Headlight switch.
Green - Sender

Obviously i just connect the black wire to anything metal in the dash or behind the dash, and the Green wire i connect to my sending units. I got that part down pat, but i dont know where or what wires to even begin looking for to connect the Red, White or Orange wire to. I don't know what they mean or the difference between the Red and White wire, and by the headlight switch im assuiming the dimmer switch but which wire coming out of the dimmer do i tap?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Last year we were the fastest pump gas stock turbo, and now we are the all out fastest with an 11.387@121.62  completely shattering the old record without nitrous!
Huge thanks to everyone that helped make this possible, and to those that said it COULDNT happen, thanks for pushing me to do it even better!
