Rep Power: 10 | Re: My AWD Conversion that is coming out good. When I did my conversion I didn't cut any part of the car with the exeption of the rear subframe mounting brackets. Then I fabricated a flat surface welded in to the location where it should have been according to the AWD frame. Am talking about the front braket. Then I took the triangle part and put the 3 screws up. All 3 screws pased the chasis up. I took the back sit out cut a hole and bolted the screaus to the chasis. For the back mounts, I did cut both screws that the held the original suspencion. I went to the yunk yard and found an AWD and took the two triangles from the suspension. I took those and put it in the place there the rear mount should have been and screws them up thru the chasis and weld them at the same time to make it stronger |
