well tonight i removed the passenger side trailering arm mount and trimmed out the frame. so all i need to do is remove the passenger side inner fender well, and find a mig welder. then this thing will be done!

Looking good!! Glad to finally see someone else doing the AWD conversion, the "right" way LOL

Yea, I think it was posted a few years ago on 3si, and us3s. We did this conversion 2 summers ago, and as far as I know, the first person to do it this way (using all factory mounting points and hardware, etc). I daily drove the car for a while, and ended up melting a piston, because we hadn't wired in the injector resistors or something yet, and I was racing the car LOL We just did another one about a month or so ago as well.

My rear suspension sits at an angle, so the rear end looks lowered. Gives for a pretty mean-looking stance Best thing I ever did to that car. We left mine automatic, since I had another car with manual trans, I wanted the auto for daily driving.
