Rep Power: 71 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i have a set of 99 base wheels that i was trying to sell because i have a welded solid center diff, and 2 of the tires are brand new, while the other 2 are half worn. having mismatched tire sizes is a no-no without a center diff to take up the slack. so in order to even things out, i need to burn down the new tires to make all 4 tires even. here's how i'm doing it: second gear burnout YouTube - RWD Dodge Stealth ES Burnout YouTube - another RWD Dodge Stealth ES Burnout YouTube - RWD Stealth Burnout Last edited by Shooter83; 08-10-2009 at 02:50 AM.. |

Great RWD burnout though.... __________________ 91-93 owners ..... Service Manual download ..... FL3S Reference thread ..... Rep Power: 71 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | here are some other impressions of RWD: car feels really different as RWD, first thing i noticed is that the steering wheel feels very light while driving. it feels like the traction is better than is better than FWD, but that might only be because the power to the rear wheels is inefficient, because the engine and tranny are turned the wrong way for RWD. the car also feels unstable and unpredictable. i think i'm also getting a slight wheel hop in the rear, or it could be the rear LSD working, i'm not sure. granted i don't know anything about driving a RWD car, but oversteer is scary. i love the way awd/fwd pulls you into the turn, and if you give it too much you'll feel the understeer, and can quickly back off. can't wait to get these tires down to size, because i already miss AWD greatly! my car felt like a monster before, a mind blistering rush! but not anymore. |

Oh well. __________________ Only member of the 10,000 post club. It is lonely at the top.
